GETTING TO LAKE GEORGE

DRIVING

FROM LONG ISLAND / NYC, NY

Back way via the Taconic: Approximately 4 hours without traffic

Take Throgs Neck Bridge (I-295N) and keep right at the fork (after tolls) to continue on to I-695N, follow signs for I-95N/New Haven. Take 95 North to Hutchinson River Parkway North (exit 9). Keep left and follow signs for the Hutchinson River Parkway North.  Use the right two lanes to take exit 13 to merge onto the Cross County Parkway towards Saw Mill Parkway / Yonkers.  Take exit 6 for the Bronx Pkwy N towards Sprain Pkwy. Merge onto the Bronx River Pkwy - Continue onto the Sprain Brook Parkway N, then follow signs to continue on the Taconic State Parkway North.  Continue for 101.5 miles. Take exit B1 for I-90 Toward US-9 / Albany / Hudson. Continue onto I-90W. Take exit 6A to merge onto I-787 North. Take exit 9W onto NY-7 West toward I-87 / Schenectady / Saratoga Springs. Take the exit onto I-87N toward Saratoga Springs / Glens Galls. Take exit 22 toward US 9 / New York 9N / Lake George Village / Diamond Point.  Slight left onto NY-9N North. Blue Water Manor / Loomis Lane is about 6.7 miles north.  

via New York State Thruway: Approximately 4 hours without traffic

Take Throgs Neck Bridge (I-295N) and keep right at the fork (after tolls) to continue on to I-695N, follow signs for I-95N/New Haven. Take 95 North to I-287 West Tappen Zee Bridge (exit 21). Follow sins for Interstate 287 / White Plains / Tappen Zee Bridge and mergo onto I-287 W. Keep left and continue on to I-87 North.  Continue for 118 miles. Use the right 2 lanes to take exit 24 for I-87N / I-90 E toward Albany / Montreal. Continue onto I-87N / I-90 E. Use the right 2 lanes to take exit 1N to merge onto I-87North toward Albany International Airport / Montreal. Keep left to stay on I-87 North (for 54 miles).  Take exit 22 toward US 9 / New York 9N / Lake George Village / Diamond Point.  Slight left onto NY-9N North. Blue Water Manor / Loomis Lane is about 6.7 miles north. 

FROM BOSTON, MA

Approximately 3.5 hours without traffic

Take I-90 West (app. 150 miles) to exit B1 , I-90 towards US-9/Albany/Hudson (13.6 miles).   Take Exit 6A to merge onto I-787North toward Troy (5.9 miles).     Take exit 9W to merge onto NY-7 West toward                      I-87/Schenectady/Saratoga Springs (3.3 miles).     Take the exit onto I-87 North toward Saratoga Springs/Glens Falls (49.2 miles).  Take exit 22 toward US9/New York 9N/Lake George Village/Diamond Point (0.9 miles). Slight left onto NY-9N North. Blue Water Manor / Loomis Lane is about 6.7 miles north.
